Privacy and cookies

What data ELEVN processes, why, where it lives and how you can get it back or delete it. In short: we collect only what your journal needs to work, we sell it to no one and we use no profiling cookies.

Who is the controller

The data controller is Giuseppe Greco, Vibo Valentia (Italy). For any privacy request write to tachinq@proton.me: we answer within 30 days.

What data we collect

We collect only the data the service needs:

  • Account: email address, display name, language, time zone and the markets you trade (Futures, CFDs or both).
  • Journal: the trades you log or import (instrument, direction, size, prices, outcome, notes, mistakes), and the strategies, concepts, risk limits and personal instruments you create.
  • Screenshots: the images you attach to trades. The screenshot reader works on your device: an image reaches us only if you keep it attached to the trade.
  • Subscription: the state of your subscription (active, cancelled, renewal date) and a code identifying it at Whop. Card and payment details are handled by Whop, not ELEVN: we never see them.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type and technical logs our providers keep to run and protect the service.

Why we process it

To provide the service you asked for — the journal, the statistics, the subscription — under our contract with you (GDPR art. 6.1.b). To meet legal obligations, such as tax ones (art. 6.1.c). To protect the service from abuse and fraud, our legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f).

We don't use your data for advertising, we don't sell it and we don't hand it to third parties for their own purposes. Today ELEVN runs no artificial intelligence services on your data: if it ever does, this page will say so first.

Where it lives and who works on it

To run ELEVN we rely on providers that process data on our behalf, under contracts that bind them to protect it:

  • Supabase — database, account sign-in and screenshot storage. The data lives on servers in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany).
  • Netlify — hosts the website and runs its code.
  • Cloudflare — manages the elevn.trade domain.
  • Whop — handles payments as the seller (Merchant of Record): it is an independent controller of payment data and processes it under its own privacy policy.

Some of these providers are based in the United States. When data leaves the European Union, the transfer relies on the safeguards of GDPR articles 44 and following, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long

We keep the data as long as you have an account. If you delete it, from "Your data", trades, screenshots, strategies and profile are deleted right away. Providers' technical backups may keep them for a short while longer, then they're gone. Payment records stay with Whop for as long as tax law requires.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, object to processing and receive it in a readable format. Much of this you can do yourself: from "Your data" you download your trades as CSV and everything else as JSON, and delete your account.

For anything else write to tachinq@proton.me. If you think your data is being mishandled you can contact the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).

Minors

ELEVN is made for traders, so for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change how we process data we update this page and the date at the top. If the change is significant we also tell you inside the app.
